Lübeck was one of my favourite trips I took during my travels to Germany over the winter. I visited the day after Christmas, thinking there wouldn’t be much to do since most things would be closed. And especially so, since Lübeck is but a small town in the north.

Much to my surprise, many things were open, and the addition of snow capped roofs and the twinkling of Christmas lights made the whole city feel like magic.
