Think endless bars to enjoy the tapas crawl, lively bistros lining the streets, picturesque colourful buildings and a neighbourhood teeming with life and energy.

Visiting Madrid in the summer of 2018 was the first time I'd returned to Spain after my short stint in Barcelona, and though I wasn't in the coastal Catalonian capital, everything about Madrid and it's environment felt so wonderfully familiar.
