In some ways, change is always scary— a new phase of life, a new role as a partner, parent, etc. Growing up and realising you’re not a kid anymore and that there are stakes to the decisions you make always seem intimidating. Especially since I feel like a lot of us are aware of more than just our immediate surroundings, and thereby wanting to live a life with purpose, it’s easy to fall into a questioning of “well, what’s mine?”

And what happens when you don’t have an answer? Truthfully, I don’t know. But I do know that change is always constant in our lives. I’ve up ended my life multiple times, switching careers and industries, moving countries, going back to being a student, then back to being a working adult again, and all these changes have helped me grow monumentally.

So take comfort in knowing that change is constant, because change is growth.
