The Arc de Triomf in Barcelona was built for the 1888 Universal Exhibition, symbolising the gateway to the modern Barcelona of the 19th century. Today, the monument is one of the monuments to see in the cosmopolitan coastal city. On a day of good weather, the Arc de Triomf positively gleams in the sunshine, the light showcasing all the beautiful colours of the structure, the pathway to it flanked by palm trees on both sides.

This series of enamel pins is in collaboration with illustrator Winona Sarah, a fellow Singaporean creative, who drew out monuments in my photographs to turn them into pins.
